I received a 0 for my Tiger Scorpion, and before you say “oh, that’s not fair”, NO, IT WAS EVERYTHING IT NEEDED TO BE. Yes, you seek failure, not success. ⁣ ⁣ Because unless you attempt to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow. ⁣ ⁣ Because practice is a mechanism of controlled “failure”, you take your body to the point of “failure” and that’s when your body adapts and your consciousness expands. ⁣ ⁣ To be a Champion: is invite “failure” to transform your consciousness. ⁣ ⁣ To be a Champion: is to find your limits, so you become LIMITLESS!⁣ ⁣ It’s easy to show up for yourself when things go as you wanted. ⁣ ⁣ But its the moments when things don’t turn out how you want, that’s when a Champion is forged. To sit in grace and gentleness for yourself and say: I love and approve of myself exactly as I am. ⁣ ⁣ And I gave all and beyond I had in that “practice”on stage. I did postures that I had spent YEARS dreaming about - and they are my postures and no one can take that from me.⁣ ⁣ •Was I devastated? Absolutely!⁣ •Did I sob backstage? Absolutely! ⁣ •Am I tearing up writing this? Absolutely!⁣ •Did I have a moment on stage, after 8 years of demonstrating, when I thought: “wow, this actually could be mine?” Absolutely!⁣ •Did I want so badly to bring something back to my 84 family? Absolutely!⁣ ⁣ But while I was on stage, I was back at 84, hearing the sounds of the students giggling and counting off “leg circles” in other languages. ⁣ ⁣ I was on the grass in my beloved beach park, hearing the children laughing and the crows flying overhead. ⁣ ⁣ I was practicing and seeking “failure” as I always do. ⁣ ⁣ And I love myself exactly as I am. ⁣ I AM, SO HUM

The lake close to her home previously never had swans, however, on a cold winter morning in the winter of 2020, miraculously a beautiful Swan appeared in the illuminated sunlight crossing before her eyes, exactly, as she had imagined and described, herein.
